Biography

Charles O’Neill earned his Bachelor of Science in nursing through Western Governors University and his Associate of Science in nursing from Maria College in Albany, NY. Charles decided to pursue a career in medicine during his time in the military. He served as a Medical Corpsman/EMT on active duty in the United States Coast Guard, performing search and rescue missions. Charles also served as a Medical Technician in the Air National Guard in a reserve status.

What Charles loves most about his job is getting to know the patients. The patient population he and his team care for at InfusionCare have chronic illnesses with treatment plans requiring frequent appointments, allowing him to get to know the patients and build rapport. Charles believes the most important thing to do while caring for patients is to treat them as a whole. He knows his patients have chronic diseases but also realizes that is not who they are. Seeing his patients so frequently, he has the opportunity to get to know them as individuals and discover who they are beyond their illness.

Originally from Clifton Park, NY, Charles enjoys refinishing, repairing, repurposing, and building furniture. He is also trying to teach himself to play the guitar!
